Structural Equation Modeling with AMOS Training Completed within the Scope of Erasmus+CORE Project

As part of the Erasmus+ CORE Project conducted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Özgenel, a faculty member in the Department of Educational Sciences at Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University, a training program titled ‘Structural Equation Modeling with AMOS’ was held on August 21 and 23, 2023.
During the training, participants received comprehensive information on the processes of Structural Equation Modeling, the basic features of the AMOS software, and applied data analysis. In the morning sessions, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özgenel addressed the theoretical foundations of Structural Equation Modeling, explaining all stages in detail, from model setup to reporting results. Participants were also provided with tips on avoiding common mistakes and strategies for efficient analysis.
In the afternoon sessions, practical workshops were conducted. Participants had the opportunity to work with sample datasets, enhancing their skills in using the AMOS software. By the end of the training, participants had successfully transformed their theoretical knowledge into practice, significantly improving their competencies in structural equation modeling.
Project Cycle Management Training Completed within the Scope of Erasmus+CORE Project

As part of the Erasmus+ CORE Project, a training program titled ‘Project Cycle Management’ was conducted by Dr. A. Bahadır Şaşmaz on December 16-17, 2023.
The training aimed to provide participants with detailed knowledge on project cycle management processes, strategic planning, project design, and evaluation. During the morning sessions, Dr. Şaşmaz addressed the theoretical framework of project cycle management and shared insights into the processes of creating and executing a successful project. Critical steps in project planning were discussed, and participants were informed about methods to avoid common mistakes in these processes.
In the afternoon sessions, practical activities were carried out. Participants had the opportunity to enhance their knowledge through case studies and group work related to project cycle management. The event, held in the STEM Laboratory, enabled participants to gain significant competencies in project development processes within the framework of the Erasmus+ CORE Project.
Academic Writing and Systematic Review Trainings Completed within the Scope of Erasmus+CORE Project

Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University successfully completed the “Academic Writing” and “Systematic Review” trainings organized under the Erasmus+ CORE Project (Competence Oriented Methodologies for R&D in Social and Educational Sciences).
The Academic Writing Training was conducted by Assoc. Prof. Mehmet Şükrü Bellibaş. During the training, participants were provided with detailed information on academic writing processes, common mistakes made during article writing, and ways to avoid these errors. Additionally, the importance of journal selection, submission processes, and scientific ethics was emphasized.
The Systematic Review Training was led by Prof. Dr. Sedat Gümüş. This session offered comprehensive insights into systematic review methods, source scanning strategies, and literature analysis, aiming to enhance participants’ competencies in this field.
The trainings took place between July 10-13, 2023, at the Historical Building Seminar Hall on Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University’s Halkalı Campus and were met with great interest from participants. We extend our gratitude to all trainers and participants who contributed to these trainings organized under the CORE Project.
